How much does garden clearance cost?

A full day of garden-clearance work costs £360. The booking covers the day’s work rather than guaranteeing completion of the entire garden.

Will my whole garden be cleared in one day?

Every garden is different. We’ll agree priorities beforehand and work through as much as reasonably possible during the booked day. If more time is needed, further work can be discussed separately.

Can you remove the garden waste?

Garden waste can be removed for an additional charge where required. We’ll discuss this beforehand so you know what to expect.

Fox Gardens is offering one local household a completely free garden clearance. If your garden has become overgrown or difficult to manage, you can nominate yourself for help. You can also nominate a friend, relative or neighbour who could use a hand.

This is a one-off free garden clearance rather than an ongoing free gardening service.

Why we're doing this

Because sometimes a bit of practical help goes a long way.

Fox Gardens looks after gardens across the local area. We'd like to use some of our time to help a household whose garden has become difficult to manage and give them a proper fresh start outside.

It isn't about finding the biggest or wildest garden. We're looking for somewhere the help will genuinely matter.

A useful reset, not a complete redesign.

Every garden is different. We'll agree a realistic scope after reviewing the selected garden. Green garden waste created by the agreed clearance is included.

Yes. The selected household will not be charged for the agreed garden clearance or for removal of green garden waste produced by that work.

How will the garden be selected?

This is not a random draw. Fox Gardens will choose one garden based on the circumstances described, the work required and whether we can safely make a meaningful difference.

What work is not included?

Specialist tree work, hazardous work or waste, structural work, hard landscaping, invasive-plant work requiring specialist treatment, and work requiring specialist contractors or specialist machinery are not included.

What happens if I nominate somebody else?

Please only nominate somebody else if you have permission to submit information about them and their garden. If their garden is selected, we'll confirm the details and obtain any further permissions needed before work is arranged.

Where is the free garden clearance available?

The offer is available for gardening in Wokingham and surrounding areas, generally within a 15-minute drive.

Can I get a free gardener in Wokingham?

Fox Gardens is not offering an ongoing free gardening service, but we are giving one local household a completely free one-off garden clearance. You can nominate yourself or someone you know using the form above.

Who can nominate a garden?
